Sasha Martin - Life From Scratch: A Memoir of Food, Family, and Forgiveness

Event date:
03/24/2015 - 7:00pm

Food blogger Sasha Martin takes us on a global table adventure as she introduces her debut book, Life From Scratch: A Memoir of Food, Family, and Forgiveness.

In this book, Martin cooks a meal from each of the 195 countries in the world, taking her husband and young daughter on a nearly four-year global epicurean tour from the stovetop of their Tulsa home. As she wrote, Martin began reflecting on her personal history with food and cooking, ultimately delving into her troubled past. The resulting memoir is deeper, more powerful, and more delectable than anyone could have imagined.
